Design partner for human-first companies.

For people building things that ask for attention instead of stealing it.

You might be a founder with an idea and a notebook, or a small team with a product that has got louder than you meant it to. If you want people to leave your app feeling better than when they arrived, we should talk.

Three things, done properly.

App design

Product and UX design for apps, from the first sketch to a version people can hold.

Web design

Websites designed and built by hand. Fast to load, kind to read.

Branding

The mark, the colours and the voice. A small, honest identity that sounds like you and holds up in use.

With you in the room.

We call it the participatory method. It means you are part of the making, not the audience for it.

1. Listen We start by asking and then keeping quiet. What do you make, who is it for, and how should they feel afterwards.
2. Sketch together Pencil and paper, with you there. Nobody falls in love with a screen yet.
3. Build in the open You see it as it grows. No big reveal at the end and no surprises on the way.
4. Ship and stay We launch it with you, and we stay around for what comes after.

Supwrite

A nightly writing app with no account, no feed and no data collected. A new image at 10pm, five or ten minutes of writing, then the answer. Designed and built by Modern Analog.
